hummingbird studio is an inclusive, community art space where art belongs to everyone! Kokua’s hummingbird studio was created with the belief that art is essential to a full & meaningful life and critical to a healthy, vibrant community. in 2019, our accessible studio will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for artists of all abilities, and participants share common goals: creating art and making friends. Check out our 2019 brochure here.

Artists work independently or with as minimal support as necessary to express their personal creative vision. Artists who need assistance with mobility or personal care are required to bring a support person. Art materials are provided. Each session has a general suggested theme, and artists are encouraged to bring their own unique ideas to life. Due to space limitations, pre-registration is required to attend. Please contact: Randi Miller @ 360-705-4665 ext 120 or email to register, volunteer or donate.
